HOW TO SIGN UP/LOGIN STEP AND TO START NEW PROJECT ?

You have to sign up/login. make sure that you its very important to get register before getting start with intel xdk.you need to sign in if you are already register with the intel xdk then you can 

give your USERNAME and PASSWORD to to sign in but if you have forgotten your username or password then you can click on the link forgot your username or password then the reset link will be send to your registered E-mail.

you may face any kind of difficulty in signing in then you can click on the link SIGN IN FAQs(frequently asked uestions).

if you are new to intel xdk and you have to first register yourself with the intel XDK and then you will sign in again to start your new project.

Once you logged in then you will get into this page.Then after that you will see this screen where you will have a lots of options.

1. PROJECTS tab to create your new project(App) and set the app package options which we will discuss later in detail.
2. DEVELOP tab used to edit app files with the built-in Brackets* code editor whether in html,css or js and much more
3. EMULATE tab to simulate app functionality on various virtual devices and debug your app with the built-in Google Chrome* Developer Tools (CDT) debugger
4. TEST tab download the Intel XDK App Preview tool from playstore and you can test your app on real device .
5. BUILD tab to package your app for submission to various app stores and/or for hosting on the web

You have two options:

1. Start a new project.
2. Open an intel xdk project.
   

If you already have created project from your computer or from some other computer then you can open an intel xdk project from any intel xdk but u have to make sure that you have .xdk file (e.g kash.xdk).

       Here we will start a new project.
iTS upto you whether you want to make simple html5 project or html5 + cordovo project.
mainly we will use cordovo projects. with this we can use different plugins in our app.
Cordova provides us so many plugins which we can add to our project and every cordova plugin does its work and its very useful.
In plugin management we can write the name of our application,package name ,version of an app and any other things which we will discuss later in detail.

here click on the templates and then select the project you want to continue with like i want to continue with HTML 5+cordova.
the intel XDK provides you various templates for start up which covers lot of things.
demos are also given in intel xdk.you will get access to demos only when you are connected to internet during offline you will not be able to get connected with demos.
for basic if you want to get start with the blank app then you can click on the blank and on click you will get blank project and then you can start work on your project.
